Superior Diesel, Inc. is hiring a skilled Truck Technician for our Waterman and DeKalb locations. This full‑time role offers steady hours in a clean, organized shop with occasional field service work.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools.
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Operate lifts, pneumatic tools, welders, and shop equipment.
- Communicate findings and document repairs clearly.
What You Need:
- 3+ years mechanical experience OR completed related formal mechanical training.
- Experience as a truck or diesel technician.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- ASE certifications a plus.
- Must have own hand tools.
